Pair of 14k white gold citrine huggie pierced earrings, with two golden orange color, VS clarity, oval citrines. The citrines have a total weight of 12.09 carats, measure 10.8 mm wide by 12.9 mm long by 9 mm deep, and are 4 prong set. These were cut by Steve Moriarty in a design by Arya Akavan called an ostentatious oval. These stones were cut as a test to prove to master cutters that a polished girdle does not make a stone more brilliant. One was cut with a polished girdle and the other not polished. Video available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FFDqJ1Z60g. These stones are as near perfect in cut as is possible. Accenting the citrines are .10 carats of fine diamonds.
