Incredibly rare from any source this 8 carat black Welo opal has vivid red green and yellow fire. Sculptured by Steve. As he says of this cut " I followed the natural flow of the rough and added some some slight artistic touch to make the form more interesting." This dark base colored material is rarely found in nature. Beware of the smoke treated black material that can closely mimic this natural colored black opal. Smoke treatment changes white opal to black and enhances its typically poor color. Demenstions are 16x12x10
