About the Rock Hound Scholarship THE 2014 SCHOLARSHIP IS OVER. WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE WINNER IN MARCH. SIGN UP FOR THE 2015/2016 SCHOLARSHIP NOW. Moriarty's Gem Art is offering one student a $500 paid scholarship towards their academic costs for the 2016 school year. If any alumni wins this scholarship, $500 will be given to the school the alumni graduated from. Application Process We love rocks! Everyone in our family studied geology, biology and other sciences in college. Would you like to take part in the 2015 Rock Hound Scholarship? Just complete the following step: Punctuation, grammar, clarity and organization will be considered during the evaluation process, as well as content. To enter, fill out the survey and submit by 11:59pm on Dec 25th, 2015. Carefully review your application before you submit it. We recommend that you print a hard copy of your application to retain for your records. Confirmation Applicants will receive an emailed confirmation when the electronic application is successfully submitted. Late submissions and incomplete application packages will not be considered. No applicant will be enrolled to receive extraneous emails and/or solicitations of any sort. Payment of Scholarships The Rock Hound scholarship is paid to the school of the selected recipient. It will be paid in a one-time amount of $500.00 U.S. Dollars. Only one entry is permitted per student. |
Scholarship Payment Details: All scholarships given by Moriarty's Gem Art are awarded annually in March. The scholarship payout will occur in August 2016 and will be issued in one installment of $500.00 U.S. Dollars. Eligibility for Payout - Must be studying a Science Degree Program at your school - Currently residing in the United States - Student must provide the address of the college's Financial Aid Office - Student must provide college student identification number - All decisions we make are final and are not subject to appeal - Before the Prize will be awarded, all information submitted in the application email will be verified. If ANY false or misleading information is submitted on the official entry, the student will be disqualified without notification to the student - Only one entry per student. Scholarship payout is made payable to the college and sent directly to the school's financial aid office to be placed on the student's account. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.
