I've bought several gems from Moriarty's, all beautifully cut. Cut is everything and if you buy a gemstone from a chain store you're likely to get something inferior. Moriarty's has very fine stones. As a collector it's crucial that I buy only from dealers who allow returns, which I can do with them. Most recently I bought a Merelani mint garnet with gorgeous color.
