Ladies' 14k white gold box link opal pendant, measuring 18 inches long, with a lobster clasp and one blue green color, oval cabochon opal from Ethiopia. The opal weighs 13.11 carats, measures 16.5 mm wide by 22.6 mm long by 7.5 mm deep, and is 4 prong set. In addition, there are two prong set marquise brilliant cut diamonds, H-I color, SI2 clarity, with a total weight of .10 carat. The pendant also has one prong set round brilliant cut diamond, G-H color, SI2 clarity, with a weight of .10 carat. The accent stones weigh a total of .20 carat. The gold head supporting the opal has backed enamel coating used to accent the color of the opal. Goldwork by Margo Corley. This opal is of hydrophane type and being porous it should be protected from chemicals including hair sprays and perfumes and lotions to name a few.
