One 12.80 carat emerald cut tanzanite, blue violet vivid color, SI2 clarity, cut grade excellent, measuring 10.1 mm wide, 16.8 mm long, 8.1 mm deep; with excellent polish and excellent symmetry. The proportions of the tanzanite are as follows: total depth 80.2%, table width 51.5%. The inclusions are not easily seen and this is a beautiful gem as it is but it could be re-cut to a 10 carat clean gem with a value slightly greater than it is as a 12.80 carat. This tanzanite is color enhanced by heating. Cut by Steve Moriarty.
