New Tanzanian material that starts out as very dark red and heats to this beautiful pinkish brown gem. This precision cut gem that was cut by the artisans in our shop measures 11.5 x 9.3 x 7.7 millimeters and has VS clarity. High clarity has been difficult to get in this material because it is difficult to see into the rough before cutting and when you heat gems most inclusions will cause fractures when heated. All of this material from this source need to be heated to lighten color.
